With the opening of the new UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute, the Gardiner family donated their father's 52 piece collection of Rookwood Pottery depict portraits of Native Americans. A stand-alone exhibit was designed in the lobby of the building to permanently showcase the collection and tell the story of Rookwood Pottery and Native Americans in the Ohio Valley region to visitors.
